Rehabilitation effect of Yuriy Spasokukotsky’s methods.

Unfortunately, traditional techniques for bodybuilding and fitness will lead to pain in joints or a spine, injuries of knee, spine, elbow and shoulder joints sooner or later.
The technique for doing many exercises (bench press, standing weight lifting, classic squats, leg weight lifting) has a long history, but it is still against human anatomy, physiology of muscles and joints. Recent researches and long experience of Sports Medicine proved that weight training should be done with a special safe method. While training with our proposed method, you will not only avoid injury, but will be able to get rid of old sores of illiterate training or those received while doing exercises at home!

In 1994, Yuriy Spasokukotsky started bodybuilding using the traditional method of training. He really wanted to improve his physical shape, «fought» with a barbell, gaining each repetition. Having fragile ligaments and joints (as, unfortunately, most people have) within few years of training he received chronic injuries of knee, lower back, elbow and shoulder joints. After regular consultations with his doctor and talking with other athletes he found out that majority of bodybuilders suffer from chronic injuries and pains in joints! In the course of consultation and cooperation with a qualified sports orthopedic surgeon he learned anatomy of muscles and joints, then Yuriy developed and implemented in practice the method of training that not only allowed him rehabilitating of old injuries, but avoiding new ones as well. Of course, bodybuilding is not the main danger for our health.

In 2008, Yuriy fell down the stairs and received a very serious leg injury: complete separation of his quadriceps from the patella and rupture of the knee joint capsule! He had a serious operation at Kiev Orthopedics Institute. According to doctors’ forecasts he was going to lose all muscle mass and shape of the left thigh, and restore the capacity for training and walking only in 2-3 months after the surgery.

Having no desire to put up with his fate, Yuriy started rehabilitation exercises just in 3 days after the surgery, performing the exercises in a special bus on his leg. After 3 months Yuriy recovered almost full of muscle volume, he did legs weight lifting with a weight of 450 kilos, weight squats with 185 kilos rehabilitating himself on his own method of training. According to his physician, it was an unprecedented case, a rapid and complete recovery after such a trauma, and this technique proved once again its therapeutic and prophylactic effect.

Effective training and development of muscles without any injury are possible and necessary! This safe technique is used by professional bodybuilders, who achieved their sport longevity without injuring their body but preserving their youth, beauty of the body and health.

Legs training. Knee injury.
Classic squats often lead to a knee injury, back injury, chronic inflammation of knee ligaments. Performing sit-ups in the style of «sumo» in a strict amplitude will reduce a load on knee joints, and doing squats with dumbbells instead of barbells, you can reduce a load on lower back.

Before doing weight squats, even with low weight, you need a long period of auxiliary exercises for lower back (from 2 to 6 months). More information can be found in the section below.

Injuries of lumbar back.
After coming to the club all customers usually immediately begin with performing hyperextension in order to «strengthen the back” … and injure their loin! Hyperextension with full amplitude is rather traumatic exercise requiring doing preparatory exercises in an easier mode. We usually start with «hump» exercise with dumbbells weighing 2-3 kilos only.

Elbows injury.
French bench press is very efficient for triceps, but you can also damage «efficiently» your elbows joints! Replace this traumatic exercise with a gentler version of an exercise with crossover and you will grow your triceps without pain in your elbows.

Shoulder joints injuries.
More and more doctors and other experts keep warning about traumatic effect of bars and dumbbell weight lifting above the head when sitting and standing, but trainers keep finishing off shoulder joints of their customers practicing such exercises. Stretching arms and pulling blocks are safer and better for increasing deltoid muscle mass!

Chest muscles injuries.
Bench press is the most popular and the most dangerous exercise. Most often breaks of chest muscles, injuries of shoulder joints and front delta are caused with a bench press fulfilled with full amplitude.

«Biceps» fitness club and Yuriy Spasokukotsky’s methods provoke growing interest in people, who have problems because of injuries of muscles or joints. Recovery from an injury or disease of joints is paid much attention in the club.
